Sarah Palin - Feminist in Sheep's Clothing

Why do Christians like being lied to? Because they want to be on the winning team! Christians have been dooped by the Republican party. Dooped by those in the Republican Party's pocket - National Right to Life, Dr. James Dobson, and the like. We Christians have been told, all we have to do is WIN. Keep voting Republican, even though everything the Republican party stands for is corrupt, immoral, against God. Keep voting Republican, because the Democrats are worse.

Hmm...really? I'm not so sure. At least the democrats don't lie about their beliefs. They will tell you to your face they think unborn children should be killed before they ever see the light of day. But a republican will tell you, "Oh, I'm pro-life!...(unless you have been raped...or unless you're a teenager and your parents say its okay to kill their grandbaby...unless...exception after exception, ad nauseum)."

Along comes a pretty face to go with the lies and the Christians are ready to sign their souls over. It's unbelievable to me how many Christians are mesmerized by this feminist, Sarah Palin. A mother of many children, including one with Downs Syndrome, she is assuredly pro-life...at least before the child is born. But what is she once her children enter the world? A feminist to the very core.

Let me stop right here and make it clear - I believe women - mothers -are to be at home caring for their children and helping their husbands. That is their God-given duty - "to love their husbands and children, ...to be busy at home..." Titus 2:4-5. I also know that this is not always possible. Their are plenty of exceptions to the rule, but Sarah Palin? No, Sarah Palin is not an exception to the rule. She is a woman on a power trip. And she is teaching her children, especially her daughters, that they should do the same. That children are not as important as "the job", or as "status". But it should be the other way around! Now not only are her children at risk of her feminist ways, but the children of our country will see and glamorize yet another feminist in action.

Still don't think she's a feminist? Why, because she's pretty? Because she has lots of kids? Because she's witty? She's not ugly, or sinister like Hillary, I'll give you that, but she is just as dangerous, if not more so. Consider what she said in her speech giving credit to the very devil the Christians were so opposed to, "It was rightly noted in Denver this week that Hillary left 18 million cracks in the highest, hardest glass ceiling in America, but it turns out the women of America aren't finished yet and we can shatter that glass ceiling once and for all."

Palin has a teenager that is pregnant. True, the girl didn't abort the baby. True, we all make mistakes, and sometimes kids rebel even when parents do most things right. But that is not the case here. No, see, Sarah Palin's public career began, she says, when she didn't like what was going on in her children's schools. So she joined the PTA. What she should have done, if she truly had her children's interests at heart, was get her kids the heck out of the government schools! But, she decided she could have it all. She fell for the feminist philosophy, hook-line-and-sinker, and her children suffered as a result. She has been after that glass ceiling ever since, no looking back. Now her daughter is knocked up and the Republicans are going to put this family up in front of the world as representatives of the American family!

A mother needs to be a mother first. Sarah Palin has children younger than this pregnant teen, and she ought to learn from her mistakes and correct them. She ought to see that she was an absent mother who failed her daughter, and change her ways so that this doesn't happen again. But rather than put her family first, she is going after an even more time-consuming and demanding job that will take her away from her children even more. Her kids will be raised by substitute parents, and the Christians will go on championing her as their hero because, hey, at least we WON, right?

Good post! I definitly don't think the VP of America should be the mother of a baby, especially a special needs baby. How does she think she could be the VP and a wife and mother all at the same time??

Honestly, I dislike Obama so much that I have also debated voting for McCain. I have come to realize that we should do our parts as Christian's and that God will take care of the rest.

How are you guys?! I never saw your pictures that you had done. Can you email them to me (if that is an option). I would love to see them!

You have hit the nail on the head again. It is unfortunate that the political system makes people worse over time and not better.
