About Me

Lindsay
I am a mostly-crunchy, stay-at-home-homeschooling-momma with 5 little ones under the age of 7. I have one child that struggles with many food-related health challenges, which keeps us on our toes even more! I am mostly vegetarian, an aspiring raw-foodist at heart...But I have my days where I just want a good burger...or pizza! I have a love-hate relationship with coffee!! I am a hard-core pro-lifer; a Christian - more specifically, an open-theist and dispensationalist. I like to talk (and blog) morality, firmly believing there actually *are* moral absolutes and that too many "Christians" have fallen for relativism in its various forms. And so, I'm blogging On Shades of Gray.

T13 #7

Thirteen cute things the kids said when G was born:
1. "I still think it's a girl baby" -R
(3 1/2 y.o. girl; while still at her grandparents, after we told her on the phone he was a boy).
2. "He doesn't have any itchies!" -A
(6 1/2 y.o.) [This one makes me want to cry!]
3. "I'm glad he's a boy, boys are my best play-mates" -M (5 y.o.)
4. "MY BABY!!!" -N (2 y.o.)
5. "I think he should stay forever" -R
6. "He's making his little kitten noises" -M
7. "His foot is as small as my thumb!' -A
8. 'Eye....Nose...Mowf...Hair...Ear..." -N
(while pointing at each...G's so easy going, he hardly notices!)
9. "What is he again?" -R
(It took me a while to figure this one out, but I finally realized she was asking what his name was - she couldn't remember. Too cute.)
10. "Cwying....ut's wong?" -N
(translation: Baby's crying, what's wrong?) LOL
11. "I like him" -R
(we're glad she approves!)
12. "Five....is enough" -A
(?? where'd he get that? It was funny the way he said it though!)
13. "CAN I HOLD THE NEW BABY?!?!" -All of them....several times a day.

This is such a cute list! Five??? Under the age of seven? I admire you for that. We call our kids by their initials, too. Not on my blog, but in real life.

Have a great weekend!

Ok - I can never get links in comments to work. It's my only Thursday post this week, though!

Kids just tell it like they see it. Which can be scary! Happy TT!
